Founded in 1828, H. Moser & Cie. has established itself as one of the most distinctive names in contemporary independent watchmaking. Combining traditional Swiss craftsmanship with bold colours and minimalist design, the manufacture has developed an unmistakably modern identity.
The Heritage Centre Seconds Ref. 8200-1201 perfectly embodies this philosophy. Inspired by historical pocket watches and early wristwatches, its 42mm stainless-steel case features elegant wire-style lugs, a rounded profile and an oversized onion-shaped crown.
Its signature Funky Blue fumé dial transitions from vibrant blue at the centre to almost black around the edges, creating remarkable visual depth under changing light. Large Arabic numerals crafted from Globolight®, an innovative three-dimensional luminous ceramic material, are complemented by luminous sword-shaped hands, bringing modern technology to a distinctly vintage-inspired aesthetic.
Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is the manufacture HMC 200 automatic movement, featuring a Straumann hairspring, bidirectional winding system and the characteristic Moser double stripes. It delivers approximately 72 hours of power reserve.
Rather than simply recreating the past, the Heritage Centre Seconds reinterprets traditional watchmaking through a contemporary independent spirit, demonstrating how timeless design and modern innovation can coexist effortlessly.
