Introduced in 1975, the Girard-Perregaux Laureato became one of the defining integrated-bracelet sports watches of its era. Combining an octagonal bezel, circular dial and seamlessly integrated bracelet, it established a distinctive geometric identity that remains central to the collection today.

The Ref. 81010-26-1834-26A revisits this design through a sophisticated combination of titanium and 18K pink gold. Its 42mm case contrasts cool metallic surfaces with the warmth of precious metal, while the Clous de Paris dial displays shifting tones of blue-grey under different lighting conditions. Applied gold-toned hour markers, matching hands and a date aperture at 3 o’clock complete its balanced aesthetic.

Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is the manufacture GP01800-0013 automatic calibre, offering approximately 54 hours of power reserve. Its decorated bridges, meticulous finishing and openworked gold-toned oscillating weight reflect the watchmaking expertise Girard-Perregaux has cultivated since 1791.

The appeal of the Laureato lies in its restraint. Rather than relying on visual extravagance, this two-tone interpretation celebrates proportion, material contrast and architectural harmony, bringing a refined contemporary character to a design rooted in the 1970s.
